Maggie's Getting Married Reviews

I already saw the play last week and loved it! I'm coming again closing night with my two daughters because the play reminded me so much of them! They have to see it!

Your plays are so popular now...you're doing everything right. You have an excellent website and the plays have been outstanding...the best community theatre I've ever seen! Now...if only you could change your venue!

I have had the great pleasure of seeing your latest production, Maggie's Getting Married, as well as, volunteering as part of the front of the house staff. Both were beyond my expectations. The play itself is extremely funny. Some of the funniest moments stemmed from the simple reactions of the different characters to something or someone else on stage. I definitely will be coming to more plays put on by Bedford Players and I hope to volunteer again with a great group of people.

Keep up the great work!!

I saw the show last Friday night and it was one of the best I have seen yet. It was so easy to believe the story and empathize with the characters. The plot was familiar to many real life situations which made the humour of it all that much more enjoyable. The night flew by as the story was performed by a great group of actors and kudos to the director and her team!

Last night was the first time I saw a play put on by the Bedford players, I loved it. The reaction of Rafael at what he had supposedly seen was priceless, he can be so funny without saying much. I hope to see all the plays from now on.

Thank you for a great performance.

Sincerely,

Vi Smith

There was lots of laughter from the audience inside the All Saints Church Hall Thursday evening for the opening night of Maggie's Getting Married, a touching romantic comedy by Norm Foster.

It is easy for the audience to relate to every character in the play, to the flaws and weaknesses, but also to the good qualities of each.

It is this, and the professional and experienced staff, that makes this play a great success.

There was not one empty seat in the house. The two hours flew by as everyone was captivated by the actors on the stage.

A definite must-see, deserving of a standing ovation!

Thanks,

Benny Holmes
