CBC and Neptune Theatre's Disney High School Musical Contest is now over. Bedford Players actresses, and current board members, Kathy O'Brien and Bonnie Matthews auditioned for the role of Mrs. Darbus. Sadly, our wonderful actresses didn't make it to the public voting.
Neptune's loss is Bedford Players gain as Bonnie Matthews will be playing Cass, Maggie's mother, in our Spring production of Maggie's Getting Married by Norm Foster. Bonnie was cast in Bedford Players production A Separate Peace, Barefoot In The Park, My Darling Judith, A Breath of Spring and It Runs In The Family.
Kathy O'Brien has taken on the job of Executive Producer with Bedford Players this season. Kathy was cast in Bedford Players production of Sinners, I Take This Man, Rumours, The Odd Couple (Female Version) and See How They Run.
Our Spring production is Maggie's Getting Married by Norm Foster. The play runs from Apr 23 - May 9.
The play is a touching romantic comedy that follows the pitfalls a family encounters on the eve of their daughter’s wedding.
Rehearsals have been underway and everything is on schedule.
